Screen Suffolk Meets Tourism Minister

Nigel Huddleston’s visit to Sutton Hoo was part of his two-day tour of the region, organised by Visit East of England, which also the National Horseracing Museum at Newmarket, Southwold Pier, Adnams Brewery, Bury St Edmunds and the Suffolk Food Hall and Snape Maltings.


Jim met Nigel at Sutton Hoo to discuss the power of screen tourism.  The story of Sutton Hoo is famously re-told in The Dig the film starring Ralph Fiennes and Carey Mulligan.  Read the full story here.

Award Winning Film Starring Lowestoft

Back in September the Burberry promo that featured our very own Lowestoft won an award at the prestigious Gerety Awards 2021.

New Locations

Glemham House

Glemham House is a stunning Georgian house in the heart of Great Glemham. The house has large rooms, an open plan kitchen and an open stair case with a balcony all around the first floor. The gardens are large with a stunning walled garden surrounded by green houses and a traditional tool shed. Full Details.
 

Town House Ipswich

Located on a conservation road 10 minutes walk from Ipswich. This Georgian Style house features 4 double bedrooms, two with en-suite, an indoor swimming pool, bar, conservatory, garden and raised patio area. Full Details.
 

Gelham Hall

Gelham Hall is a 17th century Suffolk farmhouse, Grade II listed. Large spacious outdoor land with numerous ponds & paddocks. Outbuildings includes old blacksmiths forge and 1970's farm barn.  Full Details.
