When The Dig hit our screens in January 2021 there was quite literally a captive audience to view it! The resulting buzz around Suffolk as a film location and Staycation destination was phenomenal. Joe Wilkinson joined David O'Doherty on a trip to the Suffolk coast, and engaged in a series of bizarre contests along the way, with a little help from an unexpected judge. During their two-day jaunt, David and Joe enjoyed the delights of rural life, weaving a course through hazy farmland and sandy lanes, finishing their ride under the setting sun of Southwold beach.
